A leading company in quality certification and inspection, AmSpec employs approximately 110 people, divided by sector and type of inspection, with its own offices and laboratories in the main Italian maritime terminals (Genoa, Livorno, Civitavecchia, Naples, Rome, Milazzo, Syracuse, Brindisi, Taranto, Ravenna, Venice, Trieste, Porto Torres, Portoscuso, Assemini) and in northern Italy (Cremona, Mantua, Sannazzaro, and Oriago di Mira-VE).

AmSpec Italia performs quantitative and qualitative inspections of petroleum products, petrochemicals, chemicals, vegtable oils, animal fats, biodiesel and gas (LPG/LNG/propylene, etc.), coal, petcoke, biomass, and agricultural products on ships, containers, land tanks, rail tanks, depots, tankers, a point-of-sale inspections in Italy and around the world.

The AmSpec Laboratory in Naples has been ISO/IEC 17025 accredited since 2012.
The AmSpec Laboratory in Venice has been ISO/IEC 17025 accredited since 2021.
The AmSpec Laboratory in Mantua has been ISO/IEC 17025 accredited since 2021.
